Floods Hit Minhla: Schools Close, Bridges Destroyed

Heavy rains hit Minhla Township of Bago Region, triggering floods across the area, Information and Public Relations Department reported.

Floods hit schools, roads and wards in the township – village-tracts and crop fields were also inundated. 15 schools have been temporarily closed since Wednesday.

The floods also destroyed 2 bridges in Kyaungywa Village-tract. Assistance has been provided in the flood-affected areas.
