Floods and snow cut power in Southern France

The Hérault department in southern France remains under red alert following severe flooding caused by heavy rainfall, while the weather moves away, according to Météo-France. Around 3,000 households in Hérault and 30,000 in Aveyron, which experienced up to 50 cm of snowfall earlier, are without electricity. No casualties have been reported.
