Flooding: Bridges Swept Away, Hospital And Houses Flooded

Heavy rains hit Paukkhaung Township area of Bago Region. In KanKyin Village, an 80 feet long and 6 feet wide wooden bridge was swept away. Also, KanKyin-MyayNiGone rural road was destroyed.

The heavy rains also flooded KanKyin Station Hospital.

Also, in ThelTawLay Village of Meikhtila Township, a 40 feet long and 12 feet wide bridge was swept away by heavy rains which also flooded ThelTawLay and Myintha villages. People in the villages were evacuated, according to the Information and Public Relations Department.
