Flooding in Bago: CM visits relief camps, provides aid, makes inspections

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win visited the natural disaster supervisory office at the Sasana Beikman in Bago Township. There, he coordinated with concerned officials to provide foodstuffs and fulfill requirements of the flood-affected people taking shelter at temporary flood relief camps, and to provide foods to those remaining at houses to look after the houses in the flood-affected areas.

And, the Chief Minister inspected the flooded road condition near the Toll Gate at the entrance of Bago Township and gave necessary instructions for smooth transportation. He also visited the temporary flood relief camp in No. 9 Ward, gave words of encouragement to the flood-affected people and provided basic foodstuffs.

On the same day, the Chief Minister visited 2 other temporary flood relief camps, gave words of encouragement to the flood-affected people and provided basic foodstuffs. There, he also provided cash assistance to healthcare workers. And, the Chief Minister made inspections in KyaukKyiSu Ward flooded by heavy rains.
