






Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win visited flood-affected Yegyi and Kyaungkone townships. The Union Minister arrived at evacuation centers in Yegyi Township where he provided rice allowance funds, eggs, canned fish, instant noodles, and a relief grant of 30,000 Kyats per person for vulnerable individuals among the flood victims.
Afterward, the Union Minister visited evacuation centers in Kyaungkone Township. During his visit, he urged residents to pay special attention to personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness as floodwaters recede and home cleanup operations begin.
Then, the Union Minister provided rice allowance funds, eggs, canned fish, instant noodles, and 30,000 Kyats per person for vulnerable flood victims. It’s reported that since the widespread flooding that began across the country in late July 2026, total relief support provided to affected residents by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement alongside Regional and State governments has reached approximately 3,100 million Kyats.
