Flood waters break through levees in South Australia

Residents of South Australian towns along the River Murray packed their belongings Tuesday and evacuated their flooded homes.

State Premier Peter Malinauskas said the volume of water which has been coming down the river was the highest for more than 50 years. Floodwaters have been sweeping down the Murray for weeks, with peaks for towns downstream of Renmark still expected to come.
