Flood Warnings: Water levels of Ayeyawady, Ngawun, and Toe Rivers surged

The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued flood warnings for several townships along the Ayeyawady, Ngawun, and Toe Rivers due to rising water levels.

According to the observation at 6:30 pm, the Ayeyawady River in Pyay Township has already surpassed its danger level on Sunday evening and is expected to continue rising over the next day.

Similarly, the Ngawun River at Ngathaingchaung and the Toe River at Maubin may reach their danger levels within the next two days. Residents living near river banks and in low-lying areas in these townships are advised to take precautionary measures immediately.
