Flood Warning: Ayeyawady River surge threatens Hinthada

The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a flood warning for Hinthada due to rising waters in the Ayeyawady River.

As of 1:30 PM on Saturday, the river’s water level at Hinthada is about 15 cm below the danger level but is expected to reach this level within the next 36 hours. Residents, especially those living near riverbanks and in low-lying areas, are strongly advised to take precautionary measures to ensure their safety.
