Flood Relief: Private Hospitals’ Association (Upper Myanmar) Makes Donation

Myanmar Private Hospitals’ Association (Upper Myanmar) donated chlorine powder and cash for the flood-affected people on Saturday afternoon.

In his address at the donation ceremony at Mandalay Regional Public Health Department, Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr. Myint Htwe expressed words of thanks to the donors. He also stressed the government, private and philanthropic sector have to work to develop the healthcare sector. He pledged to use the donated chlorine powder and cash systematically for the flood-affected people across the country.

The Union Minister and officials received the donation of 210 chlorine powder tanks and more than 9 million kyats by 21 member hospitals of the Myanmar Private Hospitals’ Association (Upper Myanmar).
