Dubai Airports said Monday that some flights were diverted from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Al Maktoum International Airport after a drone crashed near the DXB, triggering a fire. The Dubai Media Office said the fire, caused by the drone crash earlier in the morning, has been brought under control, with no injuries reported.

According to Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, flights at the airport were temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers and staff. Travellers have been advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest updates regarding their flights.
