Flight carrying Ukraine evacuees lands in Hanoi

A plane carrying 287 people fleeing from Ukraine landed in Vietnam's capital on Tuesday.

Most of people aboard the flight had fled the Black Sea port of Odesa in southern Ukraine by private cars to reach the Romanian capital, Bucharest, where the plane took off on Monday evening. Vietnam's ministry of foreign affairs said that it will continue to operate more evacuation flights to ferry Vietnamese nationals home. Another flight is scheduled to depart from Poland, heading back to Vietnam on Tuesday afternoon.
