Five Indonesian designers showcase Nusantara fashion

The Memorial City Mall in Houston, Texas, was chosen as the venue for the Indonesia Fashion Runway, a collaborative event featuring five renowned Indonesian designers. This event, organized by Gallery Archipelago USA, not only showcased the beautiful Nusantara fashion but also emphasized Indonesia’s commitment to cultural sustainability and innovation in fashion. 

One of the standout collections focused on environmental conservation by transforming textile waste into art. This collection combined batik and woven fabric with handmade applications, creating eco-friendly clothing rich in detail. 

The audience seemed to enjoy the show immensely, as it was the first time they had seen Nusantara fashion collections in Texas.
