Fishery Technology: On-The-Job Training Conducted To Daily Wages Workers

The Department of Fisheries in Yangon Region under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation had opened on-the-job training No. (1/2022) at Gyo Gone Institute of Fishery Technology in Insein Township on 6th June.

An opening ceremony was held at the institute, and the head of department U Myint Shwe gave an opening speech at the ceremony.14 staffs on daily wages from Yangon Region Fisheries Department attended the training. The attendees will be taught about management and financial tips, good aquaculture practice, tips on fisheries supervision and customs, fish diseases, livestock breeding, water quality conservation, tips on freshwater and saltwater fishery resources conservation, international relations and project management, rare and endangered aquatic animals conservation, importing and exporting aquatic products, and marine biological laboratories. The training period will be 5 days, from 6th to 10th June.

It is learnt that the training could benefit the staffs on daily wages to understand more about the processes, carried out by the department, and ensure to work without difficulties at their workplace.
