First High-Level Conference: Union Minister left for China to attend conference

At the invitation of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), Dr. Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, left Yangon by flight in the morning on 8th July, 2023 to attend the First High-Level Conference of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development, which will be held on 9 to 10 July in Beijing, and the 2023 Workshop on Ocean Economy Development and Management, which will be held on 12 July 2023, in Xiamen.

The Union Minister and party were seen off by U Thant Sin Lwin, Director General for Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Dr. Marlar Myo Nyunt, Director General for Foreign Economic Relations Department, officials from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Yangon, and Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.

The Union Minister was accompanied by Dr. Aung Moe Chai, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Economic Relations Department.
