First flight from Moldova successes commenced its first direct flights to Sri Lanka

First flight from Moldova's Vision Air has successfully commenced its first direct flights to Sri Lanka, bringing tourists from Moldova to the country.

Officials said the new air connectivity would help diversify Sri Lanka’s tourist markets while supporting the revival of Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport and boosting tourism in the southern region. Authorities added that more charter flights are planned in the coming weeks as Sri Lanka continues to promote itself as a preferred winter destination for European travelers.
