First Batch of Ben Tre’s Fresh Coconuts Enter China

The first official shipment of fresh coconuts from Bến Tre Province, Viet Nam was exported to China on Friday. This marks a major milestone, as China represents a significant potential market for Vietnamese coconut products.

According to the Plant Protection Department, China’s domestic production meets only about 10% of its demand. Leveraging this export opportunity could generate an additional 200 to 300 million USD in revenue for Vietnamese enterprises this year.
