First Balinese Hindu temple in the Netherlands

More than 300 members of the Balinese Hindu community in the Netherlands and surrounding areas participated in the temple inauguration, which was part of the Kuningan celebration. 

The inauguration of the Shanta Citta Bhuwana Temple is the first Balinese Hindu worship place in the Netherlands. The Governor of Bali expressed his appreciation for the initiative of the Balinese community, coordinated by the Bali Abdi Samasta Foundation, which successfully established the temple. 

The Indonesian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Mayerfas also stated that May 3 became a historic moment with the inauguration of the first temple in the Netherlands.
