Fires worsen in Brazilian Pantanal, the largest wetland on the planet

Fires worsening in the Pantanal wetland in Mato Grosso State of Brazil, the world's largest wetland, which have now surpassed the historical record for the month of November. Satellites of the National Institute for Space Research have detected 3,098 outbreaks in the biome between November 1 and 16, seven times more than the historical average for the entire month.
