Firefighters at site of Milan plane crash; 8 dead

Firecrews in Milan are still working to stabilize a building which was destroyed when a plane flew into it, killing 8 people on board. 

A small single-engine plane carrying six passengers and a crew of two crashed into the side of a vacant two-story office building in a Milan suburb.

Investigators opened a probe into what caused the private plane to crash shortly after takeoff from Milan's Linate Airport en route to Olbia Airport on the Italian island of Sardinia.
