A fire at a perfume warehouse in Dilovasi, northwestern Turkiye, killed six people and injured several others early Saturday, authorities said. The blaze broke out around 9:05 a.m. local time in the Mimar Sinan neighbourhood and was later brought under control by firefighters and rescue teams.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc confirmed that a judicial inquiry had been launched, while the labour ministry also announced a separate investigation. Dilovasi, located about 70 kilometres east of Istanbul, is an industrial hub with numerous depots and factories.
