Fire safety plan: MoHT UM attended clarification on fire safety plan

The Union Minister for Hotel and Tourism Dr. Thet Thet Khine gave a remark at the event of clarification on the fire safety plan held at Jade Hall of the Ministry in the afternoon on 9th April.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that this event is organized for all personnel to understand the immediate response measures if the fire breaks out under many circumstances as the dry and hot summer season has already set in. all personnel need to understand the work processes of fire safety plans well in order to prevent fire hazard from inside and outside of Ministry building and precinct, office equipment and materials, important documents and to respond unexpected fire hazard immediately.

Next, the officials from Fire Service Department of Myanmar Fire Brigade clarified the basic principels of fire breaking, preparedness for fire hazards and points to avoid, fire extinguishing processes and the experiences gained in the fire extinguishing.

Then, Director U Khin Maung Soe from the Administration and human resource management division under the Union Minister’s Office explained the formation of supervising group to carry out the work processes in the ordinary time, time of fire breaking and aftermath of fire, group for preparedness, fire extinguishing group, moving and transferring group, security group, transportation group and their assigned duties, the attendees asked questions on their curiousness and the Union Minister presented memorable gifts to the officials from the Fire Service Department.
