Fire Safety Manager Course: 2-week course to be conducted to 50-trainees

The opening ceremony of Fire Safety Manager Course for Government Officials was held at the city hall in Dawei on Monday. At the ceremony, Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U MyatKo said that the course aimed to timely response to the fire safety measures and natural disasters, to widely conduct fire preventive measures in Taninthayi region, to raise public awareness on fire safety and natural disasters and to draft a fire safety project in the respective departments.

The Region Chief Minister added that the fire safety in-charges play a vital role in the promptly reponse of natural disasters and called for trainees to try hard in learning practically and theoritically at the course to share knowledge on extingusihing fire in the respective departments.

The Region Chief Minister, the Chief Justice of the Court, the Regional Ministers and departmental officials enjoyed a video on the history of the Fire Services Department and the activities. The 2-week course would be conducted theoritically and practically to the 50-trainees from 13th to 24th March.
