Fire Outbreak: Over 50 houses damaged in Buthidaung Township

More than 50 houses were damaged by a fire outbreak in No. 5 Ward of Buthidaung Township in Rakhine State on April 17th.
The incident began at a vehicle spare parts shop around 11:00 am and quickly spread to neighboring houses. It has been reported that locals from the area had been evacuated to villages in the southern part since March 31st. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
