Fire Extinguishing Drill : Efforts for rescue and relief measures

Fire brigade members practiced the rescue and fire extinguishing demonstration atRakhine State Fire Services Department on Friday morning.

First, the official of State Fire Services Department reported on the current departmental operations and fire brigade members collectively conducted fire extinguishing demonstrations. In his speech, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin said that the fire brigades are the reserve force of a country, and have participated in the emergency natural disaster matters if necessary as well as in the socially beneficial activities during cyclone Mocha.

Not only the Rakhine State Government but also Chairman of the State Administration Council praised the cooperation of all the fire brigade members in the country in addition to the rehabilitation tasks.Fire brigade members, a fundamental force for nation, contribute lots of benefit for community, public service and life-saving activities.

The Chief Minister urged all fire brigade members to strive for continuous learning to become skilful civil service personnel. After that, the Chief Minister presented cash of honor to the demonstrators, inspected the displays of modern search and rescue equipment and gave the necessary instructions.
