Fire Drill: Demonstration on rescue and relief measures

Mandalay Region Fire Services Department organized a Fire Drill on Wednesday.

Chief Minister U Myo Aung and officials encouraged the members of Fire Brigade, participate in the demonstration including rapid response measures to fire outbreak, earthquake and other natural disasters, fire extinguishing using High Expansion Foam, as well as rescue and relief measures.

The participants were also presented cash rewards. Then, the Chief Minister held a meeting with the fire brigade members, and urged all to make constant practice with the balanced utilizing of man, equipment and technology powers. He also called for cooperative efforts with related departments for fire prevention and safety measures in public buildings.
