Fire burns at earthquake hit port of Iskenderun

A large fire that broke out at a section of a Turkish port in the earthquake-stricken town of Iskenderum was raging for a second day running. Footage showed thick black smoke rising from burning containers at Iskenderun Port. The fire was caused by containers that toppled over during powerful earthquakes that struck southeast Turkiye on Monday. The country's state-run news agency said a Turkish Coast Guard vessel was assisting efforts to extinguish fire.
