





Financial Commission held its meeting at the State Administration Council Chairman Office on Wednesday. Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, in his capacity as the Commission Chairman, attended the meeting and made a speech, saying that the meeting is held to solve approval by the commission on the supplementary budget from regions and states for 2024-2025 fiscal year.
Once it was approved, the Union Supplementary Budget Allocation Bill for 2024-2025 fiscal year will be submitted to the State Administration Council Office through the Union Government. He stressed the need to ask for expenses that could be complete with the fiscal year, and to implement the tasks in timely manner.
He urged the Union Ministries, Region and State Governments to effectively use the supplementary budget in the projects that could support for rapid development of economy and socio-economic development of people, while striving for increased GDP of the nation.
Vice Chairman of the Commission Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win discussed in support for approval of the Supplementary Budget Allocation Bill.
This was followed by a round of discussion with the explanation on the granted supplementary budget, amended budget estimation and the Union Supplementary Budget Allocation Bill, suggestions on the bill from legal point of view, facts to be implemented in the future based on the findings of financial reports.
In response to the reports, the Prime Minister outlined to prioritize for providing public infrastructures in regions and states including the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw during this fiscal year and coming years. He urged all to make strenuous efforts for economic development of the nation by boosting production.
