Finalizing the Third Draft: National Water Law Drafting Working Committee meeting

The National Water Law Drafting Working Committee held its meeting at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Transport and Communications in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday’s Morning.

Chairman of the Committee, Deputy Minister U Aung Kyaw Tun attended the meeting and delivered a speech, saying that the necessary procedures will be carried out for enactment of the National Water Law, after finalizing the third draft of the Law, to be in conformity with the trend of the country.

He urged the members of the National Water Law Drafting Committee to continue to cooperate and support as much as possible for the emergence of a national water law, which is important and necessary for the long-term development of the country's water sector. The meeting discussed the work implementation for the enactment of National Water Law, previously Meeting decisions and the future process targets.
