Final coordination meeting: Amendment of the law of Court Fees Act discussed

A final coordination meeting regarding the amendment of the law of Court Fees Act (draft) was held at the Ministry of Legal Affairs in Naypyidaw on Tuesday.

Attendees included the Union Minister for Legal Affairs and the Union Attorney General, Dr. Thida Oo, Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, Dr. Htein LinOl, the Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance, U Min Htut, Deputy Director-General of the Legislative Vetting Department, Daw Aye Win, and the Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Planning and Finance, U Tin Htwe, along with other officials from the Ministry of Legal Affairs and the Ministry of Planning and Finance.

During the meeting, the draft law amending the law of Court Fees Act was thoroughly reviewed and discussed in accordance with the guidelines. It was noted that certain aspects needed to be supplemented to ensure alignment with the current situation. Consequently, it was concluded that the amended law should be enacted, and discussions were held to finalize the provisions that need to be amended.
