




A film by Iranian director Jafar Panahi has won the top prize at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. Twenty-two films were nominated in the festival's competition category. Panahi's "It Was Just an Accident" was presented the Palme d'Or at a ceremony on Saturday. Cannes is one of the world's three major film festivals, along with those held in Venice and Berlin.
