Filipinos flock to the popular flower market in Manila on the eve of Valentine's Day. Whether solo or in a group, Filipinos are joining the Valentines’ craze in various creative ways. Prices of flowers usually spike during the Valentines season. Roses register the highest price increase, as they are now sold at 150 pesos a piece. Gerbera and carnation are more budget friendly, at 300 pesos per bundle.
