Fifth Chinese medical aid team departs for Vanuatu

The fifth Chinese medical assistance team to serve in Vanuatu departed on Friday from Beijing, and is expected to arrive in Port Villa, the capital of Vanuatu, on Saturday. The 11-member Chinese medical team, for the first time, includes specialists in radiology and nuclear medicine, alongside a public health expert.

During their one-year mission in Vanuatu, they will continue to advance the development of the Vanuatu-China Medical Center, with a focus on establishing the Laparoscopic Surgery Training Center and promoting key Traditional Chinese Medicine initiatives, including acupuncture and moxibustion therapies.
