



A ceremony was held on Thursday to honour the factories and workshops who participated in the fifth ASEAN-Occupational Safety and Health Network (OSHNET) Award.
Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung attended the ceremony and made a speech. Emphasizing the occupational risk caused by the developing technologies, the Union Minister urged all to create healthy and safety workplaces for the employees through effective prevention measures.
During the ceremony, the certificates of honour were presented to 10 factories for participating in the fifth ASEAN-OSHNET Award and six factories for Best Practices Award.
Moreover, members of the Scrutinizing Committee for fifth ASEAN-OSHNET Award were also honoured by presenting the certificates. This was followed by screening of video clips on Occupational Safety and Health measures by the award winning factories. From 2016 to 2024, Myanmar has received five ASEAN-OSHNET Excellence Awards and five Best Practices Awards, totaling 10 awards.
