Female officers join UN peacekeeping mission

On September 16, the Viet Nam Coast Guard Command held a meeting to assign tasks to four female service members who recently completed training and were selected to join Engineering Team No. 4 in the upcoming United Nations peacekeeping mission. 

This marks the first time female officers from the Viet Nam Coast Guard have joined a UN peacekeeping engineering team. This milestone demonstrates that the Viet Nam Coast Guard is prepared to undertake complex international missions, from ensuring maritime security and safety to contributing to global peace and stability.
