Seoul has opened urban water parks with Hangang outdoor swimming pools and water playgrounds to offer a refreshing escape for citizens as hot temperatures continue to grip South Korea.

This year, the facilities have opened in six areas from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week through August 18th. The fee is around 3.5 dollars per person. Likewise, LED signboards have been installed so that visitors can personally check water quality. A newly opened water leisure sports center in Nanji Hangang Park offers opportunities to ride kayaks, canoes and more.
