FBI Releases suspect’s photo in Deadly Truck Attack

The federal Police, FBI, has released a still picture of Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the suspect in the deadly New Years Eve truck attack in New Orleans.

At least 15 people were killed and many more injured when the suspect rammed people in the famous French Quarter with a pick-up truck. Jabbar was killed after exchanging fire with police at the scene of the ramming attack.

At a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, FBI Special Agent Alethea Duncan said investigators “do not believe that Jabbar was solely responsible” for the attack, and the FBI believes he may have had help.

An FBI SWAT team was later seen outside a residence in Houston, Texas.
