Father’s Day event: DPM attended Thailand’s Father’s Day event in Yangon

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein and wife attended the celebration of Thailand’s National Day and Thailand’s Father’s Day, which is the birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, held in the compound of the Thai ambassador’s residence at No 94, Pyay Road, Dagon Township in Yangon Tuesday evening.

The ceremony was first opened with the National Anthems of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Thailand. Thai Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Mongkol Visitstump, and Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein gave words of greetings.

The Union Minister and wife, the ambassador and wife also had a documentary photo taken with those who attended the ceremony. The ambassador and wife served the attendees dinner, and the Thai cultural troupe performed traditional Thai dances.
