





World-renowned fashion designer Giorgio Armani has died. He was 91. Armani was born in northern Italy in 1934. He founded a fashion house bearing his name in the 1970s. Armani gained recognition for the revolutionary silhouettes and sophisticated designs of his product lines. He provided costumes for the US film, "American Gigolo," in the 1980s and went on to dress Hollywood stars.
Armani had missed his group's fashion shows in Milan in June this year. He was reportedly unwell. The Armani Group announced his death on Thursday.
