Fashion and music show: Wife of SAC Chairman graced the show

The "Gracious and Blossoming Myanmar Women, Adorned with National Pride" fashion show and musical performance took place at the Thiri Yadana Hall of Myanmar National Committee for Women's Affairs (MNCWA) Office in Dekkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on July 1st.

The wife of the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister, and Honorary Patron of the MNCWA Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, attended and offered encouragement. This fashion show and musical performance was organized and presented by the Myanmar National Committee for Women's Affairs, under the guidance of the Myanmar National Committee for Women, in honor of Myanmar Women's Day, which falls on July 3, 2025.

The event was attended by Honorary Patron of the Myanmar National Committee for Women's Affairs Daw Khin Thet Htay, wives of the SAC Secretary and Joint Secretary, SAC members and their wives, wife of the Chairman of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, Union Ministers and their wives, Union Auditor General, wife of the Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board and other dignitaries.

The program featured with a fashion show displaying innovative designs created by renowned costume designers, under themes including "Myanmar Women's Day.", one-act plays and musical performances by famous singers, including the song "As Long as the World Exists."

Following the performances, the wife of the SAC Chairman of the and Prime Minister and Honorary Patron of the MNCWA Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, and Honorary Patron Daw Khin Thet Htay presented honorary bouquets. These were received by the Patron, Chairperson, and Vice-Chairperson of the Myanmar National Committee for Women's Affairs.

Representing the artists who participated in the fashion show and musical performance, Academy Award Winners Yan Aung and Soe Myat Thuzar accepted bouquets from Daw Myat Myat Oo, Secretary and Director of the Myanmar National Committee for Women's Affairs, who organized and presented the event.

After the ceremony, the wife of the SAC Chairman and Prime Minister and Honorary Patron of the MNCWA Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, and Honorary Patron Daw Khin Thet Htay, along with officials, cordially greeted the artists.
