Farwell Tawaf marks end of Hajj journey

Pilgrims opting for early departure performed the Farewell Tawaf today amid heavy crowds at the Grand Mosque, which managed a flow of over 107,000 worshippers per hour. This was achieved through high preparedness and coordinated efforts as part of this year’s comprehensive Hajj operational plan.

Authorities deployed extensive resources to facilitate smooth movement for early departure pilgrims, including 400 electric carts, more than 10,000 wheelchairs, and 210 smart gates to regulate entry and exit. These measures reflect Saudi leadership’s directives to provide high-quality services, ensuring pilgrims perform their rituals in a secure, comfortable, and peaceful environment.
