Farmers' Technical Forum: Enhancing sunflower yields through beekeeping focus

During the 25th edition of the Farmers’ Technical Forum, the focus was on beekeeping and boosting sunflower yields.

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation, Dr. Tin Htut, discussed the importance of bees and other pollinating insects for the thriving of sunflowers and other crops in the proliferation process. He called for conducting joint research with the Beekeeping Development Division.

Organized every Saturday by the Agricultural Research Department, the forum aims for farmers to share knowledge through cooperation and collaboration with researchers. This week's forum was attended by officials and researchers from Agricultural and Livestock Universities, as well as farmers from Pyinmana Township.
