Farm Mechanization Training: 30 trainees attend a week-long course in Moe Kaung

In Moe Kaung Township, Moenyin District in Kachin State, No.55 Industrialized Farming Camp is conducting a basic training course starting from January 16th.

The Training aims to educate the farmers to be able to use the machines in farming efficiently. During the training, the trainers from township Agricultural Mechanization Department are giving the courses related to the usage and maintenance of harvesters, mowers and cultivators to trainees theoretically and practically.

30 trainees are attending a week-long course. The Agricultural Mechanization Department provides teaching aids and also offer catering services to the trainees. Although it’s a short-term course, the trainers are providing the courses systematically so the trainees can receive a lot of knowledge about farm mechanization and use them to improve their businesses and share knowledge to others.

Although most of the farmers in Myanmar use agricultural machines in farming, some of them still need to learn to be able to use and maintain the machines effectively. Therefore, the farm mechanization training courses are conducted annually to educate the farmers.
