Farewell ceremony of Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee held in Seoul

The late Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee's farewell ceremony was held in Seoul early on Wednesday morning. Shortly after the ceremony the hearse carrying Lee's body and the bus with his family onboard departed for the burial ground.

Lee, who transformed the small television maker into a global giant of consumer electronics, died on Sunday with his family by his side. He had been hospitalized since 2014, when he suffered heart attack at his home in Seoul.
