False news: Fabricated forceful conscription and arrests spread

Over 400 youths from Yangon, Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw, Bago, Magway and Sagaing Region were transported to the Military Basic Training Academy in Yamethin Township via 20 12-wheeled vehicles on 2 March, as stated by the malicious news media as a piece of false information.

An official said that the news is not reliable. Malicious news media and people who don’t want peace in the community are spreading false news, such as forceful conscription and arrests by the security forces and administrative organizations, in order to make people and young people afraid so that there is no peace and stability in the country.
