False Information: Fake news on incidents in Rakhine State

One of the destructive media outlets, Khit Thit Media is deliberately spreading misinformation, alleging that 4 civilians including 7-year old children were killed and 6 civilians were injured due to heavy weapon attacks and airstrike launched by Tatmadaw in Myauk-U, Buthidaung and Pauk Taw Townships of Rakhine State on 15th January.

The true incident is that, AA insurgents launched heavy weapons and dropped bombs to security forces locations and caused explosions in residential areas. Illegal destructive media outlets are spreading disinformation through social media platforms to sow discord among Tatmadaw members and public and to cover the terror acts committed by AA insurgents.
