Fake News: Security forces conduct mine clearing operation in Madaya

Illegal subversive media outlets have been spreading fake news, alleging that the security forces raided Shin Hla (South) and (Middle) Villages in Madaya Township of Mandalay Region on 12th June, setting fire to 12 houses and destroying more than 30 cycles.

The security official clarified that the security forces, acting on a tip-off, conducted mine clearing operation as the terrorists planted mines at some houses and village roads, posing threats to the villagers. During this operation, the terrorists attacked the security forces using drop bombs, resulting in the damage of houses.
