Facility for quality education: Inaugural ceremony of new 3-storey building

Sagaing Education University’s new three-storey building was inaugurated at the University in Sagaing Township.

This new building with 12 classrooms can house about 1,000 students. It can help improve the University’s teaching sector.

Rector, Sagaing Education University, Dr. Myat Myat Thaw said "Education is important - our university turns out high school teachers. Our university offers B.Ed., master, doctorate and postgraduate courses. It is important to have enough space for students and we’ve now got a new building with the aim of upgrading the learning environment for the students."

This new reinforced concrete three-storey building is 192 feet long and 38 feet wide and the construction cost 581 million Kyats.
