

According to the observations at (12:30) PM M.S.T on Saturday, the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm “MOCHA” East Central Bay of Bengal has moved Northeastwards and centered at about (245) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Coco Island, (275) Nautical miles West of Hainggyigyun, (310) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Sittwe, (320) Nautical miles Northwest of Port Blair (India) and (355) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Cox’s Bazar (Bangladesh).
Even the red stage is define before (12) hours when crossing the Myanmar Coasts, now the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm “MOCHA” is moving towards Rakhine Coast near Sittwe, Myanmar as a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm, the present stage of the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm “MOCHA” is coded red stage.
The Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm “MOCHA” is likely continue to move North-Northeastwards and forecast to cross between Cox’s Bazar (Bangladesh) and Kyaukphyu (Myanmar) near Sittwe (Myanmar) around afternoon of (14.5.2023) as a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm “MOCHA”. Thereafter it is likely continue to move North-Northeastwards towards Chin State and Magway, Sagaing Regions as a Severe Cyclonic Storm “MOCHA”.
