Expressing Gratitude: Heartfelt appreciation to the contributions in rescue efforts

The Information Team of the State Administration Council issued an announcement, expressing the heartfelt gratitude to the assistance of international communities and local organizations during the time of need in Myanmar.

The powerful earthquake with the magnitude of 7.7 struck Myanmar on March 28th, resulting the widespread loss of lives and properties. The international communities provide assistance in the rescue and relief efforts, sending rescue teams and supporting equipment.

The international rescue teams are working their utmost efforts in rescue operations in cooperation with the Myanmar rescue teams and volunteers. In addition, world leaders, officials, globally famous sports federations and football teams, individuals and social organizations have shown their deep condolences by sending messages and performing a minute silence.

Likewise, rescue teams from Myanmar, Tatmadawmen, Myanmar Police Force, volunteers, social organizations and responsible citizens are working together in the rescue and relief measures, overcoming the disaster with the collective efforts and strong resilience.
