Explosion in Sittwe: Attack by AA terrorists claims lives and injures several

Five people died, and nine others were injured due to a heavy weapon attack by AA terrorists.

At around 10:10 pm on March 9th, the terrorists launched an attack from the west of Thaekhon Village in Pauktaw Township, using heavy weapons, resulting in an explosion at Kathae Ward in Sittwe.

Due to the explosion, five residents, including a 12-year-old child, died, while nine people, including three children, sustained injuries. They are now being treated at the 500-bed Sittwe People’s Hospital.
